Using Online Discussion for Curriculum Inquiry: Voices from Prospective Teachers

Promoting e-learning is one of the key areas in university education, including teacher education programmes. The purpose of the study is to investigate the perceptions and experiences of a group of prospective teachers in using online discussion. One key research question guides the study: How do prospective teachers perceive and experience the use of online discussion in the course? Qualitative approach, using focus group interviews, is used to provoke participants’ perceptions and reflections upon their learning processes during online discussion. Discussion and implications of the findings will be discussed.
